While developing software there is a scope for a lot of errors while some are visible and obvious others are hidden and only occur after a certain period of usage of the software or application, these occur at times due to human errors while coding but this is not the only reason why bugs occur there are a lot of factors affecting the quality of the software like the complexity of the software, poorly documented mother language, changing environments of releasing platforms, etc. Hence there are multiple testing programs that are to be followed parallel to the developing process as well as there is tests to be done post developing as well. Data Driven Testing as the name suggests is a part of data testing which is primarily automated and this process is carried out directly on a pool of files that can be stored in CSV, excel or any other data format. Data driven testing helps majorly in the testing of databases and CRM related software.

Functional testing is about working of the application and the assessment of fulfilling basic requirements to make sure the framework is working in terms with the user interface and the app does not have any further operational bugs whereas the non functional testing is the later part which is more inclined towards the expectation part and focuses on the product works it can also give input in terms of future development and updates and improvisation part.
